Data Storage Layer

A decentralized database and storage layer that is capable of handling large volumes of structured data across clusters of commodity servers; it organizes data and assures ACID transactions for all operations. It was designed to provide a decentralized file system for compute containers. This way, DApps have a place where they can work with persistent data. One of the most important features is that it allows SWAZM to be a decentralized sharded blockchain solution. SDSL is a decentralized database and storage layer that is capable of handling large volumes of structured data across groups of commodity servers.


Compute Layer

A layer that allows DApps running on the network to be encapsulated in a SWAZM Container; specifies and controls the configuration, execution environment, and lifecycle of any DApps using it. It represents one of the key innovations that allow the decentralized applications running on SWAZM to be encapsulated in a software delivery unit called a Container. This will contain all the required libraries that the Dapp requires to run in a fully decentralized fashion, so that SCL can run it without extra dependencies, regardless of the environment where it runs.
